Hourglass Cosmetics just released there newest foundation in the form of a stick. Vanish Seamless Finish Foundation has shades in 26 colors, water proof formula, with long-wearing 12 hr coverage. This foundation was specifically designed to be partnered with there Vanish Foundation brush, that was also sent to me from #Influenster to review and test out the dynamic duo

I have to be honest, I was thoroughly intrigued by a stick foundation, I am a oily/combination skin type and I have steered clear of most stick foundation in effort to avoid what I like to call a mud slide....makeup literally melting off my face and sliding down my neck. It has HAPPENED, trust me.

However, since I am a foundation junkie I was drawn to the brand testament to coverage of a concealer, fluidity of a liquid and weightlessness of a powder! I was immediately like "OKKK, this could be something else!

Upon application, I was a bit nervous because I noticed immediately an orange (highly pigmented golden) undertone, but I know the powder of oxidation, so I continue to apply.

So here's the trick! I found the blending with the provided foundation brush was a CHALLENGE to say the least and I even speak on this application process on my video on my Youtube channel. However after taking a step back, I noticed I missed one important factor...Primer. Like how can I call myself a MUA, I didn't set the base for my face before I applied the foundation. So after a few days of looking at the stick on my vanity, I decided to pair it up with a silicone smoothing primer and Wallah, it was magically how evenly and seamlessly it glided on my face. I still don't like the brush but a beauty blender or a Morphe M439 did the trick!

I looked almost airbrushed, it was fantastic! I do agree the longer you wear it the more it vanishes into your skin for unbelievable coverage.
